We built Stylin to solve the problem everyone has but nobody talks about: a wardrobe full of clothes and nothing to wear.
The problem we're solving
Most people open their wardrobe every morning and experience the same thing: decision fatigue. They stand in front of dozens of items and struggle to put together a single outfit that feels right. Meanwhile, the clothes they love get worn on rotation while half the wardrobe is forgotten.
The fashion industry's solution has always been to tell you to buy more. We think the actual answer is to help you use what you already own — and only buy things that genuinely earn their place.
What Stylin does
Stylin is a free iOS app that acts as a personal stylist in your pocket. You photograph your wardrobe once, and the app builds a digital inventory of your clothes. From there, it suggests daily outfits based on your style preferences, body shape, colour palette, and what's actually in your wardrobe — not a generic model's.
When there are real gaps — a neutral layer you don't own, a work shoe that could unlock ten combinations — the app surfaces shopping picks from 250+ connected brands, matched to your taste and budget.

Stylin was founded by Nikolai Komarov, alongside co-founders Andy and Shaun, and is built by a team across the UK and Portugal — backed by a broad group of experts, advisers, and early investors across AI and fashion. We're registered in the UK as STYLIN.AI LTD and our app is available on the App Store.

Nikolai Komarov — Founder & Design Director
Nikolai Komarov is the founder of Stylin and leads its design and product direction. A digital designer with two decades of experience building consumer products, he started the company to solve a problem he saw in every wardrobe: closets full of clothes and the daily feeling of having nothing to wear. Andy — Co-founder, CTO & AI Expert
Andy is a co-founder of Stylin and its Chief Technology Officer — the mind behind the app's AI. With more than a decade building machine-learning and computer-vision systems, and a specific focus on applying them to fashion, he designs the recommendation engine that learns each user's taste, reads body shape and colour, and assembles wearable outfits from a real wardrobe. He leads Stylin's AI and personalisation research.
Shaun — Co-founder & Fashion Expert
Shaun is a co-founder of Stylin and the fashion expert behind its styling. With over 15 years across fashion, apparel, and personal styling, he defines how the app reads proportion, fit, and occasion — the rules that make an outfit actually work on a real body. He writes Stylin's body-shape dressing guides and shapes the styling principles built into every recommendation.
